Lisa Parker is one of Australia’s most respected Buyer’s Advocates, with 24 years of industry experience across property, finance, and strategic advisory. She is the founder of Parker Buyer Advocates in Melbourne, co-host of The Melbourne Property Hour and Everyday Property Investing, and author of Open the Door to Your First Home.

A qualified real estate agent, mortgage broker, and financial planner, Lisa is renowned for her sharp negotiation skills, deep market insight, and integrity-first approach. She spent five years leading industry education as Head of Learning & Development at REBAA and has shaped national training for both PIPA and the REIV.

Known for mentoring award-winning advocates and for personally renovating 23 properties, Lisa combines practical know-how with elite strategy — helping her clients buy with confidence and clarity in one of the most competitive property markets in the country.

Cate Bakos holds an Honours degree in Chemistry from Monash University but has been investing in property since age 21. After working as a sales agent, and later as a mortgage broker during the GFC, she developed deep expertise in lending, borrowing capacity, and cashflow analysis.

Cate began her Buyers Advocacy career in 2010 and founded Cate Bakos Property in 2014. With experience across Melbourne and key Victorian regional markets, she has helped more than 2,000 clients make confident property decisions.

A regular media commentator and former President of REBAA, Cate is also serving on the board as the Chair of PIPA, co-host of The Property Trio podcast, and co-author of two property investment books. Cate has amassed a sizeable property portfolio and lives in Yarraville with her husband and daughter.
